Handmade music for

the 21st century

Boogielicious > Contakt > Press a German and Dutch Boogie, Blues and Jazz group that was established in 2007 as a duo with Eeco Rijken Rapp (piano, vocals) and David Herzel (drums.)   One year later Boogielicious became a trio adding Dr. Bertram Becher on   Blues harmonica.  Boogielicious has produced two duo and two trio albums that were all very well received by listening audiences everywhere (press voice on their latest album "Boogie aLive: "Effortless, weightless, simply wonderful...".)      Boogielicious creates a unique and dynamic sound that’s driven by David Herzel's   tasty and groovy drumming style together with Eeco Rijken Rapp's fluent and   highly skilled Boogie piano and warm voice.  Their music is spiced-up with Bertram Becher's professionally played Blues   harmonica that fits extremely well into their way of celebrating Boogie Woogie.   Boogielicious is one of the most extraordinary Boogie Woogie bands in Europe. They transport the music of the 1920’s, 30’s and 40’s into the 21st century.  Boogielicious' passionate performances has led to numerous concert dates, festivals, and Jazz clubs, not only in Germany, but in France, the Netherlands,   Switzerland, Austria, England and Portugal as well. Boogielicious not only electrifies the Boogie Woogie community, Rock & Roll   lovers and traditional Blues and Jazz enthusiasts, but also reaches fans of grassroots music in general. Their brilliant interaction on stage paired with the   individual virtuosity of each musician captures the audience immediately.   The music seems to be their sole purpose in life. Each performance is played to   create unforgettable moments! That’s why Boogielicious has been able to expand their fan base far beyond the typical Boogie, Blues or Jazz listeners. The increasing number of young people   attending their shows speaks to this. The band name already suggests the music:                          “Boogie Woogie” and “Delicious” = Boogielicious!
